Watermelons are a great fruit to be consumed in the summer season. They are light, juicy, and great to hydrate and pacify the heat of the summer. Consuming the same in the month of Fall and winter could give people congestion and cause coughs and colds. Also, it's best that one consumes seasonal fruits and veggies that grow as close as possible to where one lives as this not only helps local communities but also helps us live in tune with Nature.
