Beets Help With Constipation

Beets may help facilitate a bowel movement and thus aid issues with constipation.


Beets if consumed raw may aggravate Pitta ( Fire element ) . In some people, this could induce symptoms such as rashes, loose stools, giddiness, migraines etc.


Beets could help pacify, calm and balance Vata. They could aid Vata even better when cooked. An aggravated, imbalanced Vata could lead to insomnia, nervousness and anxiety, a scattered mind, dry skin etc.


Beets may be very helpful and useful for issues with anaemia, inflammation, blood purification and kidney stones.
