Updated: Apr 19, 2021

Cilantro is a great herb that not only adds the zing to most dishes, it also pacifies and balances all doshas . Being hypoallergenic, Cilantro has the ability to calm down an aggravated immune system. It adds excellent flavor to salads, chutney, pesto, dips, sauces, salsa and dressings. Cilantro also aids in the prevention of gas and bloating as well as removing toxins from the body.

INGREDIENTS

• 3 cups chopped Cilantro leaves

• 1/2 cup chopped mint leaves ( optional)

• Juice of 1/2 lime

• Himalayan Pink salt to taste

• A small piece of ginger

• 2 tablespoon desiccated coconut

METHOD

Combine all the ingredients and grind to a smooth paste in a blender using very little water. You may add some mint and some planet based yoghurt for a thicker flavor. This chutney is commonly used to boost flavor in dips, appetizers, marinades for vegetables, salad dressings and more.
