Non Toxic Air Freshener | Yoga of Eating

The fall season is finally here and we all want to feel warm and comfortable in our homes. So, here is wonderful DIY way to make your home smell like Fall without artificial scents or fragrances.


Ingredients :


Some Orange Peels

Few Cinnamon Sticks


Method :


Fill a small saucepan with water and add the orange peels and cinnamon sticks. Bring it to a boil and then turn the heat down to simmer. Simmer for about 20 minutes add more water if required. I suggest that you simmer for about 40 minutes to an hour for a long lasting aroma but you can keep simmering for much longer.


The aroma of Orange is known as the smiley aroma. It brings cheer to a gloomy day as it helps you find joy and laughter in life. It also reduces anxiety and stress.


Cinnamon could invoke the zest for life and inspires courage. Its aroma could help relieve melancholia and anxiety characterized by lack of vitality and lethargy.


You can also try adding cloves, Anise, Vanilla beans etc.


Note : Different people respond to aromas differently as smell is deeply connected to memories.
