Lots of people drink soda and other beverages which give the feeling of quenching one's thirst but these drinks hardly nourish the body and or lubricate the digestive system. Moresoever, they contain lots of sugar , artificial sweeteners and preservatives which are toxic .
Without enough water and nourishing fluids, toxins accumulate in the system . If the body is not adequately hydrated, it could dry out the colon leading to constipation and encourage the toxins to stick to the intestinal wall thus leading to further constipation and malabsorption of nutrients.
