Use Fragrant Essential Oils for the Fall Season | Yoga of Eating

During the Fall season, many of us feel ungrounded and scattered. It could be very useful to use essential oils such as vetiver, Geranium and even Citrus Essential oils during this time. Fragrances and Aromas are an attribute of the Earth Element. The use of essential oils especially Earthy essential oils such as Vetiver is a great balancer to the attribute of lightness of the Air and Ether elements which dominate the Vata ie Fall Season. Using natural essential oils via massage, in an oil diffuser or even in a kerchief can help us feel grounded and enhances our well being.
